Summary:

The Security Accreditation (GRC) Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our IT systems and processes comply with relevant security standards and regulations. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our data, thereby supporting the overall security posture of the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to implement governance, risk management, and compliance strategies that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents and recommend improvements to security measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a security, compliance, or risk management role.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
