Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Corporate Partnerships Lead to join our Partnerships team. This role plays a key part in contributing to Opera Australia’s financial success through the stewardship and growth of integrated corporate partnerships.
You will manage a portfolio of corporate sponsors, delivering high-quality, multi-channel partnerships spanning marketing, events, hospitality and brand platforms. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements while identifying opportunities to deepen engagement, unlock commercial value, and support long-term partner investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 corporate partners, ensuring strong engagement and retention
- Deliver high-quality sponsorship management plans that drive partner value and long-term relationships
- Coordinate and deliver all contracted benefits, including ticketing, marketing activations, hospitality and brand opportunities
- Deliver integrated partnership activations across marketing, events, hospitality and brand platforms
- Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships and Development Director on renewals and contract negotiations
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, communications and events teams to maximise partner recognition and experience
- Plan and deliver partner events, including hospitality evenings, performances and external activations
- Prepare detailed partnership evaluation and annual value reports to demonstrate return on investment
- Maintain accurate records of partner engagement, contracts and reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to grow commercial value and deepen engagement across existing partnerships
- Identify and research prospective partners to support portfolio growth
- Monitor trends in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and align opportunities with organisational priorities
- Represent Opera Australia at networking events, industry functions and corporate meetings
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, fundraising or account management
- Strong understanding of corporate engagement, CSR and partnership trends
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and maximise partnership value
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
- Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and strong project management capability
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
