About the role:
We are seeking a Production Operator (blender/mixer) to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient food production by adhering to safety, quality, and food handling standards. It involves operating and maintaining blending/mixing equipment, completing production documentation, and using digital systems for data entry. The role also supports training of new staff, manages inventory in the workspace, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives under team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitor production processes to ensure that they are running smoothly
- Ensure that products meet quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain accurate production records
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes
About You:
You’re a safety-conscious, detail-driven team player, able to keep food production streamlined and compliant. You thrive in hands-on environments—confidently operating blending and mixing equipment (we are also willing to train those who are motivated to learn), maintaining accurate documentation, and navigating digital systems for data entry. You’re proactive in managing workspace inventory, supporting new staff training, and contributing fresh ideas to boost efficiency and quality.

You will have:
- Intermediate machine operation knowledge
- Able to accurately use a PC/electronic device for data entry
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Able to work as a team member and delegate line responsibilities
- Able to communicate in a mature and respectful manner at all times
- Act on all reasonable requests given by management and supervisors
- Full Australian working rights
