As a Product Manager at Open, you will have the autonomy to drive outsized impact and shape the future of sales and growth.
What you’ll do
We’re looking for a tenacious, ambitious Product Manager excited to transform Open’s sales experience and unlock our next $200M+ of growth.
In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team of designers, engineers and data scientists to completely reimagine how customers engage with our sales journeys – leveraging both best-in-class third-party technologies and Open’s proprietary digital products.
You’ll do this by:
- Developing a detailed understanding of the needs of Open’s partners and their customers, alongside a strong understanding of the commercial model that makes it work for everyone
- Developing and maintaining a well balanced portfolio of growth plays and more transformational product enhancements that work back from quarterly goals through to day-to-day delivery
- Working closely with Growth managers to understand the needs and opportunities of Open partners and their customersLeading elaboration of the stories Open delivers, working with
- designers and senior engineers to balance feasibility and desirability
- Ensuring that the platform operates within defined regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Obsessing about product analytics that measure impact and inform direction
You will report directly to Open’s Chief Product Officer.
Key skills & competencies
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience in digital, data or transformation from a top tier consulting firm or product-led scale-up
- Single-minded determination to define growth strategies and deliver on them at pace
- Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with senior stakeholders
- Proven experience in collaborating with designers, engineers and data scientists in elaboration and delivery
- Strong track-record in developing and using product analytics
This role is great for:
- People who want to use their strengths in problem solving to deliver lasting customer and commercial impactor
- People passionate about technology, data and user experience that want to move into product management
This role is less likely to be for you if:
- You are uncomfortable with ambiguity and navigating different stakeholder needs when setting a product strategy and roadmap
- You are not curious about personally building new solutions and experiences
Role location
This role will be based in Sydney. We work in a Hybrid environment, where our teams attend the office a minimum of 2-3 days (e.g. Tuesdays & Thursdays).
