Help Protect the Quality of Every Property We Manage
At OpenCorp, we’ve spent nearly 20 years helping everyday Australians build wealth through the right strategy, the right advice and the right support.
A big part of that is making sure every property is well looked after from the moment a tenancy begins to the moment it ends.
That’s where this role comes in.
We’re looking for an Inspection Manager to join our QLD Property Management team and take ownership of the full inspection process across the portfolio.
This is not just a role for someone who can walk through a property and tick boxes.
It’s for someone who notices the details, communicates clearly, keeps strong records and understands how inspections protect clients, support tenants and keep property management running well.
If you’re organised, proactive and take pride in doing things properly, this could be a brilliant fit.
Why This Role Exists
Inspections are one of the most important parts of property management.
They help protect the asset, identify issues early, support compliance, improve the tenant experience and give landlords confidence that their property is being managed with care.
That’s where you come in.
As Inspection Manager, you’ll oversee Entry, Routine, Exit and Build Warranty Inspections, while also supporting leasing activity and helping improve inspection systems and processes.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, accurate reporting and a smooth experience for clients, tenants and the wider property management team.
What you’ll actually do
- Manage the full inspection process across entry, routine, exit and build warranty inspections.
- Prepare high-quality condition reports with clear commentary and strong photographic evidence.
- Identify maintenance, safety and compliance issues and escalate them promptly.
- Conduct open for inspections for available rental properties.
- Record inspection outcomes accurately and maintain compliant records across all systems.
- Support leasing administration, including processing applications and tenancy setup.
- Assist the property management team with day-to-day operational support.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, contractors and internal teams.
- Help improve inspection templates, systems and processes over time.
- Ensure all inspections are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Who This Role Is Perfect For
This role suits someone who is highly detail-oriented, confident working independently and understands how strong inspection management supports the bigger picture in property management.
You may already have experience conducting inspections or working in property management, and you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership and add real value.
You’ll likely do well here if you:
- Have experience conducting residential property inspections.
- Take pride in accurate reporting and clear documentation.
- Know how to spot issues early and communicate them properly.
- Can manage your time well and stay on top of multiple priorities.
- Work well independently but stay closely connected with the team.
- Bring a calm, professional and solutions-focused approach to your work.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience conducting property inspections within property management.
- Strong understanding of condition reports, compliance requirements and relevant legislation.
- Confidence dealing with tenants, landlords and contractors.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Commitment to following systems and procedures.
- A current Real Estate Registration Certificate.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence.
