We’re currently looking for an experienced senior reception or clinic professional to join our growing team as an Assistant Manager.
The Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Working closely with clinicians and the wider team, you’ll oversee daily clinic operations, support workflow coordination, and help ensure an exceptional patient experience at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating day-to-day clinic operations and patient flow
- Supporting and leading reception and dental assisting teams
- Managing appointment scheduling and daily workflow coordination
- Monitoring rosters, staffing coverage, and clinic readiness
- Leading daily team huddles and supporting team communication
- Coordinating treatment schedules, lab cases, and clinical logistics
- Managing stock levels and clinic consumables efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of compliance, infection control, and documentation
- Supporting smooth clinic operations and real-time problem solving
- Ensuring clinic processes and SOPs are consistently followed
About You
You’re organised, proactive, and confident supporting both people and operations within a busy clinical environment.
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in dental reception, clinical coordination, or clinic leadership
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence managing schedules, workflows, and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A supportive leadership style and team-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional presentation and a patient-focused mindset
Highly Regarded
- Previous experience in a senior dental reception or leadership role
- Experience coordinating surgical or implant treatment workflows
- Knowledge of dental practice management systems
- Understanding of clinic operations, stock control, and budgeting
