An exciting new opportunity exists to join our growing team supporting our Sunshine Coast practices in Noosa, Cooroy and Coolum.

We are a respected, independent, specialist-led diagnostic imaging network with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, personalised service, and community connection across the Sunshine Coast.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Referrer Liaison Officer to support growth and strengthen partnerships with referring clinicians across the region.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, community-facing position responsible for building and nurturing relationships with GPs, specialists, allied health professionals and healthcare stakeholders.

You will act as a link between our clinics and referrers ensuring clear communication about services, specialist expertise, technology advancements, billing transparency and patient pathways.

This role combines relationship development, strategic growth support, education and market insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong referrer relationships across the Sunshine Coast
  • Conduct regular in-practice visits and territory planning
  • Promote new services, technology and specialist clinics
  • Enhancing referrer connectivity through streamlined e-referrals, digital image access and efficient referral distribution
  • Monitor referral patterns and identify growth opportunities
  • Assist with education events
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Provide market and competitor feedback to leadership team where required

About You

You are a confident communicator who enjoys building trusted professional relationships. You bring commercial awareness, initiative and strong organisational skills.

Essential

  • Experience in healthcare liaison, medical sales or diagnostic imaging
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
  • Strong organisational and reporting capability

Highly Regarded

  • Radiology or private healthcare experience
  • Understanding of Medicare and private billing environments
  • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare operations

Work Environment
