About This Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Radiologist Coordinator to join our expanding team. Based in Noosa and supporting all practice locations, this role sits at the heart of our imaging operations and plays a key part in ensuring our services run smoothly and efficiently.

Acting as the central point of contact for radiologists, clinical teams, administration staff and referrers, you will coordinate appointments, reporting workflows and procedures across clinics. With a strong focus on organisation and communication, you will help streamline processes, support radiologist productivity and contribute to timely, high-quality patient care across the business.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Manage daily appointment schedules across all clinics in collaboration with management and radiology staff.
  • Monitor radiologist workflow, prioritise urgent studies, and actively manage unreported lists.
  • Ensure referrals, worksheets, and documentation are complete, scanned, and correctly linked.
  • Coordinate rosters and scheduling.
  • Coordinate radiologist availability for procedures and ensure all necessary documentation and imaging is ready.
  • Serve as first point of contact for radiologists, supporting them while protecting them from unnecessary interruptions.
  • Support with onboarding and credentialing of new Radiologists.
  • Facilitate clear communication with referrers and staff regarding urgent results or delays.
  • Build strong working relationships with staff, management, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assistance with administration tasks as required by management

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Experience in radiology administration, medical administration, or clinical coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence when liaising with clinical staff and referrers.
  • Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems and reporting workflows.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of clinical urgency, imaging procedures, and patient care priorities.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills
