We’re looking for a growth-minded, client-focused SEO Strategist with 2 to 3 years of agency experience to join our team. Someone who’s ready to step up, take ownership of strategy and client relationships, and drive real results visibility, traffic and conversions. At nimbl, you’ll lead end-to-end strategy across SEO, AEO and GEO, and be the trusted voice clients rely on as AI reshapes how search works. You’ll be supported by senior leaders while building advanced expertise in technical SEO, AEO/GEO strategy, automation, and the AI tooling our team uses daily.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our SEO Strategist, you’ll work across accounts and liaise with clients directly, given the autonomy to own strategic decisions and execute end-to-end strategies across SEO, AEO and GEO that drive measurable outcomes in visibility, traffic and conversions. From content strategy to on-page execution, you’ll gain exposure across the full search spectrum and be mentored by senior specialists deep in this space.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Developing and deploying end-to-end strategy across SEO, AEO and GEO for a portfolio of client accounts
  • Owning client relationships, running calls, managing expectations, and translating complex insights into clear, jargon-free recommendations clients act on
  • Running hands-on execution across keyword research, prompt sourcing, on-page optimisation, site architecture, link building, citation sourcing, content strategy and competitor research
  • Guiding clients through the fast-evolving AI-powered search landscape, framing AEO and GEO risks and opportunities in terms that are clear, relevant and actionable for their business
  • Using AI platforms (Claude, Claude Code, Cowork, ChatGPT and similar) hands-on across the daily workflow to accelerate research, briefs, analysis, reporting and execution
  • Owning implementation across key technical and on-page areas, not just handing work off to others
  • Analysing performance data (GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and presenting polished monthly reports with clear storytelling and goal-focused recommendations

  • Staying ahead of algorithm updates, ranking and answer surfacing mechanisms across LLM platforms, and broader shifts in how search is changing
  • Proactively contributing ideas, surfacing improvements, and helping the team raise the bar

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment
  • Strong account management capability: confident running client meetings, holding your own in tough conversations, and translating complexity into clear business impact for technical and non-technical audiences alike
  • Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO, plus the ability to deploy strategy end-to-end across SEO, AEO and GEO
  • Solid grasp of how ranking and answer-surfacing mechanisms work across the major LLM platforms, with experience developing AEO/GEO-specific strategies (not just bolting AI talking points onto a traditional SEO plan)
  • AI-native and well versed in the latest platforms (Claude, Claude Code, Cowork, ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar). Every team member here uses AI daily and we invest heavily in cutting-edge tooling, so we’re after someone who genuinely leans into the shift ratherthan works around it
  • Sharp analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously when there’s no obvious playbook
