About The Role

We are seeking a Goods Inwards Team Member to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a hands-on, operational role responsible for managing incoming goods, maintaining accurate inventory systems, and supporting warehouse and customer service functions. You will play a critical role in ensuring stock is receipted, stored, and available accurately so our team can deliver dependable service to customers.

You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and broader team to ensure stock flows efficiently through the business, systems are kept up to date, and any supply issues are identified and addressed promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and check incoming stock against delivery documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Receipt goods into the system in a timely manner to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Ensure stock is labelled, bin located, and stored correctly in line with procedures.
  • Coordinate stock transfers and ensure timely processing between branches.
  • Raise and respond to inventory and supply cases, escalating where required.
  • Monitor and follow up outstanding orders and deliveries.
  • Assist with replenishment, cycle counts, and stocktakes.
  • Manage returns to suppliers in line with company processes.
  • Maintain accurate product data, including notes and pricing updates.
  • Load and unload goods safely, including assisting customers when required.
  • Provide support at the front counter and point-of-sale as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Operate forklifts and equipment safely in line with company policies (where licensed).

About You

You are a reliable, practical team member who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and contributing to a positive team environment.

You will bring:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Confidence using computer systems.
  • Be physically fit (as frequent and repetitive lifting and carrying is an inherent requirement of this role).
  • A commitment to workplace safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in goods inward operations, including loading and unloading.
  • A current NSW Driver Licence (provisional or above).
  • A current Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one.
