Professional Hospital Cleaner
Casual | Newcastle / Lake Macquarie | Evening Shifts
The Opportunity:
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our specialist team. This position is essential in upholding the highest standards of hygiene in hospital operating theatres and surrounding clinical areas.
This position offers approximately 12 hours per week, worked across three weekday evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanitation of surgical theatres post-operation
- Deep cleaning of scrub sinks, prep areas & high-touch surfaces
- Machine scrubbing of floors; wall & ceiling cleaning
- Waste disposal in line with hospital infection protocols
- General cleaning duties: vacuuming, mopping, supply checks
What You Need:
- Current Driver’s Licence & reliable transport
- Previous hospital cleaning experience (highly regarded)
- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safety and adherence to sanitation protocols
- Ability to manage time and tasks independently
Professional Office Cleaner
Newcastle | Casual | Evening Shifts
The Opportunity:
NHN Group is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaners to join our team in a casual capacity. This role offers consistent shifts and the potential for increased hours based on performance.
This position would suit someone looking to pick up extra hours each week in a minimal or second job capacity, with 10 hours per week available Monday to Friday and the opportunity to increase based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- General office and facility cleaning including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and surface sanitising
- Cleaning of glass and windows
- Waste removal and bin management
- Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Following site-specific scope of works and procedures
- Reporting of any issues or cleaning opportunities to supervisors
- Maintaining accurate task records and reporting incidents as required
You must have:
- Previous office cleaning experience (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- A professional attitude and commitment to high service standards
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
- Ability to work independently and follow a scope of work
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing cleaning tasks
