About the Role:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator will have primary responsibility for the coordination of learning initiatives including scheduling, tracking and maintenance of learning records and activities. Individual tasks will involve designing, implementing, and evaluating capability frameworks and development programs aligned with Ngwala’s strategic objectives.
The role will provide on-going support to the Organisational Development (OD) Manager who is responsible for initiatives that are aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness, culture, and performance. Successful communication and relationship building with a wide range of staff and management is a key part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of learning and development programs for managers and employees.
- Provide for effective new starter induction and training that is welcoming and positive
- Respond to training requests, scheduling training, managing learning calendar, coordinating facilitators, prepare learning resources and associated logistics
- Contribute to development of fit-for-purpose learning activities and evaluation
- Hands-on responsibility for the Learning Management System (LMS) and educate managers and employees on how to access training
- Maintain organised systems, processes, and records. Produce L&D reports and statistics
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, including co-ordination and training delivery
- An understanding of OD and L&D principles and practices eg Adult Learning Principles
- Emotional intelligence – diplomacy, influencing, adaptability
- Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentations
- Team Player – williing to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Solid Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Victorian driver’s licence
- National Police Certificate (not older than 3 months)
- Victorian Employment Working with Children Check
