Administration Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ngala is looking for a casual Administration Assistant to cover periods of leave.  They will provide reception and administrative support to all members of the Carnarvon office in order to facilitate an efficient and effective level of support for families.

The receptionist is generally the first point of contact for the public. As such, it is essential this role provide a pleasant, courteous and professional presence to welcome and interact with a diverse range of clients.

 

DUTIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide reception and administrative support to Carnarvon programs.
  • Provide professional and courteous assistance to clients as first point of contact.
  • Ensure all incoming phone calls are attended to promptly and transferred to the appropriate program.
  • Book and confirm appointments for parenting consults, or general meetings.
  • Assist in administrative functions for meetings and events. 

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:

  • Entry level IT and Administrative competency.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment using initiative, innovation, creativity and flexibility.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • ·Previous experience in a community services would be advantageous.

  Role Requirements:

 

  • Possession of a current National Police Certificate.
  • Possession of current WA driver’s licence.
  • Possession of current Working with Children check
  •
