We’re seeking experienced Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Technicians to perform advanced inspections across major industries including oil & gas, mining, and defence. The Role

You will play a key role in conducting advanced PAUT and other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods for a wide range of clients and industries, including oil and gas, mining, power generation, and defence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing PAUT inspections to relevant standards and client specifications.
  • Setting up, calibrating, and operating advanced ultrasonic testing equipment.
  • Interpreting data, analysing results, and preparing detailed inspection reports.
  • Providing on-site technical support and advice to clients and team members.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced PAUT certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience conducting Non-Destructive Testing.
  • White Card and current driver’s licence.
  • Ability to pass ongoing drug and alcohol screenings and a pre-employment medical.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to HSE practices.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Unrestricted Australian work rights.
