Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AICIP/ API Inspectors to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, conducting, and reporting on inspections in accordance with all applicable standards.
These positions will play a central role in coordinating inspection activities, ensuring the timely completion of inspection scopes, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and professional service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute inspection scopes on behalf of clients, including the preparation of scopes of work, inspection cycles, and safety and service preparation requirements.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and procedures (e.g., API, ASME, AS/NZS), ensuring all work meets the technical and quality expectations of both NDE Solutions and the client.
- Prepare, review, and finalise detailed inspection reports that accurately document findings, provide recommendations, and are quality-assured prior to submission.
- Lead tank, vessel, and integrity inspection teams as required, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain a high level of professional and technical competency through ongoing development and awareness of new technologies and methods
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficient in pressure vessel, tank, boilers, piping, and structural integrity inspection techniques (e.g., visual, API 653/510/570 methods).
- Strong understanding of applicable standards and codes (API, ASME, AS/NZS, ISO).
- Understanding of NATA-accredited inspection practices and quality assurance processes.
- Competent in the use and interpretation of inspection and testing equipment.
- Skilled in digital reporting systems and technical documentation
- Demonstrated experience conducting inspections within heavy industry sectors.
- Experience in managing inspection scopes, including project planning and client liaison.
- Experience working in field-based and remote environments under varied site conditions.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel interstate and overseas as required.
