Naumi Hotels Wellington is a unique, luxury boutique hotel experience nestled in the heart of Wellington’s vibrant entertainment and dining district, with entrances on Cuba St. and Dunlop Terrace.
We are seeking for a passionate and experienced Bartender to create whimsical and delicious guest experiences at our top-rated bar. Our bar is where stories are shared, connections are made, and creativity flows as freely as the cocktails. If you bring flair, fun, and flavour to everything you do, we want you behind our bar!
This role will suit someone who is enthusiastic about delivering special moments and memories for our guests and patrons, who loves mixing up a cocktail and serving it with flair. Naumi Hotels is looking for a dynamic, creative drink artist who is keen to be recognized for their hard work. This is a full-time role with minimum 30 hours per week.
What you will be doing …
- Prepare and serve beverages such as wine, beer and cocktails while showcasing sound knowledge of our offerings and menus
- Deliver and exceed guest expectations
- Keep the bar humming, stock, cleanliness, and presentation on point
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area
- Work closely with our food & beverage and front-of-house teams to create a seamless Naumi vibe
Ideally you will have …
- Experience serving and mixing alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of safe alcohol service guidelines and requirements
- Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and all things liquid art
- LCQ certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- A creative mindset that experiments with flavours and styles
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills
- Excellent presentation
- Flexibility to work on weekends and late evening shifts
