Description

IT Officer – Nations Church (Global)

Part-Time – 3 days per week

The position

We are looking for a dedicated IT Officer to join our Corporate Services team at the Myaree campus. This role is an integral part of our team providing support across all areas of IT infrastructure, systems and technology implementation. The role ensures the smooth and reliable operation of technical systems across all our campuses, enabling and supporting the key ministries of Nations Church.

This role is responsible for:

  • Maintaining the general health of all IT assets and infrastructure
  • Ensuring high availability and reliability of systems supporting mission-critical functions
  • Developing and implementing policies and best practices for infrastructure and equipment
  • Planning and managing technology and platform upgrades, including implementation of new systems and software to meet emerging ministry needs
  • Proactively implementing measures to identify security risks and protect data and infrastructure
  • Coordinating and providing technical support across statewide campuses (in person and remotely)
  • Liaising with external vendors and service providers as required

This role is located at our Nations Myaree Campus and the successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in the life of Nations Church and make this their home church.

MUST-HAVES

The successful candidate will have industry experience in IT operations and logistics, with strong problem-solving abilities and a critical thinking approach to systems and infrastructure. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
