About the Role
We are seeking skilled depot and field Technicians to join our Newcastle team. In these roles, you will be responsible for the configuration and repair of our customers communications products and will be based either in our Newcastle repair depot or working on our customer sites. A key part of these roles is ensuring our customers radio systems, including digital two-way radio and microwave technologies are supported to the highest level. These are hands-on positions that involve working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of communication solutions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a mix of technical skills and the right attitude. Key qualifications and abilities include:
- Certificate III in Electronics, Communications or Electrotechnology as a minimum.
- Strong technical skills in radio systems or industrial electronics, fault-finding, and configuration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training in new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair our range of radio products.
- Configure our radio and infrastructure software to meet customer requirements.
- Diagnose and repair faults.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Provide remote support for our external and internal customers.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.
- Provide technical support to sales staff and assist with project planning.
