bout Us

The Alliance is Australia’s national voice for Indigenous employment and training. We are the only Indigenous-led peak body solely focused on this sector. As an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) we are governed by an Indigenous board and led by an Indigenous CEO.  We connect and enable the ecosystem: advocating for our member organisations with government and big business, building the evidence base that shapes policy, and giving industry the tools and expertise to make Indigenous employment commitments real.  Founded in 2023, we are independently governed, evidence-based and already making change happen through policy influence, national research and a growing membership that spans urban, regional and remote Australia.

Working closely with the research team and sector stakeholders, the position supports literature reviews, data collection, project coordination, and the preparation of research outputs including reports, briefing materials, presentations, and sector insights. • Provide project coordination support by scheduling research activities, tracking milestones, maintaining documentation, and supporting research administration.
  • Support stakeholder engagement by preparing materials and assisting with communication for stakeholders involved in research activities.

  • Experience in the employment and training sector (desirable)
