About the role:

The position is responsible to supervise, motivate and assign responsibilities to operators to ensure packing schedule targets are met.

The role will be for our Afternoon Shift: Sunday to Thursday from 2pm till 10pm.

Key Responsibilities but not limited too:

  • Completed handover with previous shift detailing any issue, remaining plan, operational messages
  • Ensure all required sleeves for the shift are in the staging room plus there is sufficient film/containers for the next 24 hours
  • Verify that operators are wearing the correct PPE
  • Monitor all packing data and ensure it is updated in real time accurately in the EOD report 
  • Ensure the MR35 document for stock transfers is filled out and accurate trip by trip 
  • Ensure all meals pass through the x-ray and checkweigher without exception
  • Record X-ray Rejection
  • Visually check that all sleeves are correctly stored without any exposed sleeves, PPE is correctly stored with no exposed material. Overall cleanliness and GMP is maintained

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the Food and Beverage industry (FMCG). 
  • Experience in leading and managing teams. 
  • Enjoy challenges in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills 
  • High level of commitment to work effectively in a multi-skilled team environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability in driving continuous improvement, including cultural change and problem solving.
