Mutual Muse is in need of a retail lover with a penchant for second hand to work across our Northcote and Brunswick stores.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough and wide ranging knowledge and interest in local and designer brands with experience working in secondhand resale, a bonus, but not essential. Our ideal team member is creative, conscious and enjoys communicating.
Who we are
Mutual Muse is a second hand fashion business in Naarm / Melbourne. We have two brick and mortar stores and an e-comm store.
Everything in our stores is bought directly from our customers. Mutual Muse’s point of difference from other second hand retailers is that we don’t operate on a consignment model – when you sell your clothes to us we sort through them quickly and give you cash or store credit up front.
What your role will involve
As a team member you will provide kind and genuine customer service to everyone that enters our stores as well as keep the store running by maintaining inventory, merchandising and processing sales.
All team members are guided through our buyer training at their own pace. Using your pre-existing skills and Mutual Muse training material you will help fill our stores with a curation of pieces for our diverse customer base. As a buyer you will make decisions about what we put on our racks(and understand why).
