Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities within the utilities sector. As a part-time role, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site management, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. You will serve as a key point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations and maintenance of facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-organised. Conduct regular inspections of grounds and facilities, identifying issues and implementing solutions promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and safety audits as required. Address and resolve facility related concerns from staff and visitors in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with management to plan and coordinate facility usage for events, meetings, and activities. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders and tracking usage as necessary. Assist in the training and supervision of cleaning and maintenance staff.
Act as a liaison between the organization and external service providers, contractors, and utility providers. Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, responding to incidents and ensuring appropriate protocols are followed.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff and visitors.
Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to facility environments.
Problem-solving skills to address facility-related issues promptly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with maintenance practices and utility systems.
