About the role

We are seeking experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join the MPS team. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards are maintained while leading and supporting a team of cleaners. This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent client service.

You will work closely with both your cleaning team and the client to ensure service delivery meets expectations and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support cleaning staff to maintain high service standards
• Provide task instruction, coaching, and on-the-job training
• Monitor attendance and ensure correct clock-in/out procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits
• Maintain site documentation including audits, incidents, training records, inductions, and risk assessments
• Liaise with the client and maintain strong communication and professional relationships
• Plan staff rosters and allocate cleaning resources effectively
• Log monthly supplies orders
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and safe work practices
• Investigate hazards or incidents and ensure corrective actions are completed
• Oversee operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment, including specialist equipment such as ride-on machines, steam and pressure cleaners
• Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced in accordance with maintenance schedules

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (essential)
