What We’re looking for
Food Science / Food Technology degree is preferred
Prior experience working in food manufacturing with knowledge of HACCP and or QA systems; ISO, SQF, BRC, et al.
Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
High level of attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to learn and work across multiple software packages.
Strong communication skills and ability to give clear and direct instructions.
An enthusiastic, approachable and positive manner
Passion for sustainability and responsible packaging
What you’ll be doing
Ensuring constant compliance to our HACCP food safety system
Daily pre and post production checks.
Driving constant improvement of our systems to identify and mitigate risks within our food safety system.
Reporting to our Technical Manager and working closely with our, Production Manager and production team to improve our food quality, safety and record keeping. This will involve the creation, review and adherence to SOP’s across the business.
Review and maintenance of packaging and labelling to ensure that packaging and labelling is not only compliant, but also inline with our sustainability goals of reducing waste to landfill.
Working with the sales and production teams to identify, trial and bring to market new products and innovations.
