Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Clinical Nurse to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this is a key leadership position supporting in strengthening the organisational capacity to respond to clients’ clinical needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of client specific training, the clinical governance and risk framework and working in partnership with the Quality team to respond to clinical improvement activities.

- Understanding of the disability service and health sectors and their interrelationship.
- Demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting people with complex care needs.
- Knowledge of contemporary professional nursing and health care issues.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to
- Delivering staff training on clinical care and client-specific requirements, including onsite training to ensure staff competency and compliance with NDIS practice standards.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of Mosaic’s Clinical Governance and Risk Framework and related policies.
- Ensuring Mosaic’s clinical practices, policy and procedures, templates and training are aligned with contemporary practice and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission requirements.
- Providing advice to service delivery teams on specific health events, medication and communication with medical specialists.
To be successful in this role, you will have
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience related to quality, clinical care, disability or aged care.
- Significant experience providing training and education programs.
- Significant recent knowledge, experience and leadership relevant to this position.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in coordination and management of a clinical training program.
- Effective clinical leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (Desirable)

- Current and Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
- Valid WA Driver’s license and Licensed and Insured vehicle
- Current and valid First Aid & CPR certificates
