Lending Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lending Manager/Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the lending process from start to finish, including assessing loan applications, conducting credit checks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lending and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Assess loan applications and determine eligibility based on creditworthiness, income, and other relevant factors
• Conduct credit checks and verify financial information provided by applicants
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Communicate with applicants to gather additional information and answer questions
• Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of loans
• Maintain accurate records of all loan applications and related documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service to all applicants and borrowers
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or similar recognised qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in lending or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are passionate about sales and are driven and motivated to reach and exceed targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
