THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an Electrical/Instrument Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Perth, Western Australia. This permanent, full‑time position plays a critical role in leading the execution of complex engineering and design scopes, ensuring alignment across multi discipline teams.    

You will work on client projects critical to current and future energy needs including:

  • Brownfield modifications of offshore assets to ensure future reliable operation
  • Renewable hydrogen project development
  • Compression stations to ensure Australian energy grid resilience
  • LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) developments to boost energy security

ABOUT YOU

  • Stakeholder Management: ability to influence senior internal/external stakeholders and balance competing priorities with clear trade-offs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership and management of the project and project team.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Management of project budget and schedule including progress reporting.
  • Preparation of estimates and schedules for engineering works and projects supported by the Lead Engineers and Lead Designers.
  • Carry out electrical / instrument discipline engineering tasks on the project when required.
  • Review and approve Technical Queries, Design Change Notices and Project Change Requests and issue to the client.
  • Review and approve Document Control requests prior to submission of project deliverables.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of company procedures for project engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years post graduate E/I discipline work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Tier 1 Oil and Gas operations.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Engineering and Design Services providers as a senior or lead E/I discipline engineer
  • Proficiency with project scheduling and reporting tools (eg MS Project/Primavera) and enterprise document records/management systems
  • Experience using relevant computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel preferred)
