ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Field Services Manager to lead our Field Services team and drive exceptional service delivery to our clients. Based in Wodonga or Wagga Wagga, this full‑time leadership role offers strong career development, a supportive culture, and a competitive package including a company vehicle.
You’ll oversee a team of skilled technicians supporting a large fleet of Ricoh print devices and related software platforms. With our service offering growing, you’ll also help expand delivery into broader field service opportunities beyond print related services.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Champion a forward-looking culture, bringing new ideas, improving ways of working, and helping the team adapt to change.
- Contribute to the MDPS Leadership Team, providing operational insights and collaborating on strategy and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Provide leadership and support to the Field Services team across onsite resources, administrative functions and service control.
- Analyse team and individual performance, identifying training and development needs
- Liaise closely with key product suppliers and service vendors to ensure value from our relationships, and drive ongoing service continuity
Service & Field Operations
- Manage service contracts, job quoting, parts ordering and stock control across multiple locations
- Oversee daily Print Field Services operations, including SLA compliance and escalations
- Lead installation projects, providing oversight and support to your team
- Take responsibility for all aspects of service management within JIM2 ERP.
- Maintain parts pricing, system updates, service reporting and trend analysis
- Maintain oversight of all Field service operations to drive an exceptional customer experience.
Customer Experience
- Build trusted client relationships and act as an escalation point when required
- Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints
- Maintain strong product knowledge and participate in ongoing training
- Manage customers service agreements, monitoring contract performance and technician utilisation
- Proactively strengthen customer relationships through clear communication and service management
ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Proven experience in a Field Services Manager or senior leadership role (Print, IT or related industry)
- Technical capability across hardware (ideally print devices), software and basic networking
- Experience managing service teams, SLAs and customer contracts
- Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to perform under pressure while driving service quality and profitability
- A valid Class C driver’s license and willingness to travel between locations
Desirable
- Technical certifications or vocational training in electronics, computer systems or related disciplines
