About the role:

We are seeking two highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeepers to assist our Business Services department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. We’re open to Part-time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

About you:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Competent and confident using software such as Xero, Dext, Employment Hero, and Excel
  • Highly organised, process-driven, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and solve problems promptly
  • Positive and professional attitude
