The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our QLD delivery team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supervising site-based construction activities and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with design documentation, quality requirements and client expectations.
Working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors and site team, you will manage day-to-day delivery, drive safe work practices, oversee trades, maintain site records and proactively manage program outcomes.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for leading site operations throughout the project lifecycle,
including:
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site labour
- Maintaining site safety, inductions and compliance obligations
- Ensuring work is delivered to spec, drawings, codes and quality standards
- Managing site diaries, reporting, materials, plant and equipment
- Monitoring program progress and identifying opportunities to improve delivery
- Supporting communication and relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers
- Leading and developing site-based personnel including Foremen and Leading Hands
What You’ll Bring
You are a confident site leader who thrives in a fast-paced delivery environment and takes pride in executing projects to the highest standard. You’ll also bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a Site Management or Site Supervisory role within commercial construction
- Strong people leadership skills, able to mentor, direct and support site teams
- Good understanding of trade interfaces, buildability and construction sequencing
- Ability to identify risk, solve problems and influence outcomes on site
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels
- Relevant building/construction qualifications + White Card
- QBCC Builder Open Site Supervisor license (mandatory)
