Chef de Partie.
Do you bring a hands-on, positive attitude, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in delivering high-quality dishes? We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your designated section to the highest
standard.
- Take ownership of your section, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely
service during all service periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment in line with HACCP and
food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Support the Senior Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily operations.
- Train and guide junior team members and apprentices within your section.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to manage service flow, special
requests, and dietary requirements.
- Uphold kitchen standards while contributing ideas to improve processes and menu
offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef ready to step up.
- A positive, proactive mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for food, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and WHS practices.
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) preferred.
- Valid Food Safety Certificate required.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
