THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a role for someone who wants to pick one lane and stay in it. As our Senior CRO Strategist, you will move between building sophisticated strategy and getting your hands into the detail. They will own the CRO discipline for a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market clients: setting direction, managing budgets, running research, and sitting at the table as a trusted senior advisor.
You will join a Digital Experience team spanning Development, UX/UI Design, Delivery, CRO, and Marketing Automation. The quality of this team is high. So are the expectations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Client Strategy and Delivery
- Build comprehensive CRO strategies for clients covering on-page and off-page levers, aligned to agreed KPIs and business goals
- Lead research and analysis programs to uncover conversion barriers and prioritise the highest-impact opportunities
- Execute and oversee CRO activity from hypothesis development through test design, implementation, and results analysis
- Analyse campaign performance rigorously, connecting specific tactics to measurable outcomes and telling the story behind the data
- Manage client budgets and resource planning with commercial discipline
Client Relationships
- Lead senior client meetings and present findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence
- Build deep, long-term relationships with clients at a senior level, acting as a genuine partner in their digital success
- Read your audience and adapt your communication style accordingly, whether you are presenting to a marketing manager or a chief executive
Team and Practice
- Mentor and guide junior team members, encouraging creative thinking through open communication and regular knowledge sharing
- Contribute to the growth of Frank Digital’s CRO practice by helping define standards, tools, and methodologies
- Be the internal subject matter expert: the person colleagues across the agency turn to when they need a straight answer on CRO
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience and Education
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- At least five years of experience in CRO, digital analytics, or a closely related field
- A proven track record of delivering measurable conversion improvements for complex, enterprise-level clients
- Experience managing senior client relationships including budget ownership and executive reporting
Skills and Capabilities
- A strategic mindset: zoom out to see the full commercial picture, then zoom in to interrogate the data and define the action
- Expert-level ability to build CRO processes and frameworks from scratch, not just inherit them
- Strong analytical instincts and the confidence to evaluate complex problems independently and form defensible recommendations
- Genuine commercial acumen and client focus, with a sharp sense of what actually drives value for the businesses you work with
- Persuasive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn data into insight and insight into a compelling narrative
- Real influencing skills at senior levels, internally and with clients
- Solid project management capability to keep multiple client workstreams moving simultaneously
