THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a role for someone who wants to pick one lane and stay in it.
As our Senior CRO Strategist, you will move between building sophisticated strategy and getting into the detail. You will own the CRO discipline across a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market clients — setting direction, managing budgets, running research, and operating as a trusted senior advisor.
You will be part of a Digital Experience team spanning Development, UX/UI Design, Delivery, CRO, and Marketing Automation. The quality of this team is high. So are the expectations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Client Strategy and Delivery
- Build comprehensive CRO strategies covering on-page and off-page levers, aligned to agreed KPIs and business goals
- Lead research and analysis programs to uncover conversion barriers and prioritise the highest-impact opportunities
- Execute and oversee CRO activity from hypothesis through to test design, implementation, and results analysis
- Analyse performance rigorously, connecting tactics to measurable outcomes and clearly articulating the story behind the data
- Manage client budgets and resource planning with strong commercial discipline
Client Relationships
- Lead senior client meetings, presenting recommendations with clarity and confidence
- Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a genuine partner in their digital performance
- Adapt your communication style to suit different audiences, from marketing teams through to executive stakeholders
Team and Practice
- Mentor and guide junior team members, encouraging strong thinking and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to the growth of Jaywing’s CRO capability, helping define standards, tools, and ways of working
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing clear, practical guidance across the broader team
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- At least five years’ experience in CRO, digital analytics, or a closely related field
- A track record of delivering measurable conversion improvements for complex, enterprise-level clients
- Experience managing senior client relationships, including budget ownership and executive reporting
Skills and Capability
- A strategic mindset — able to zoom out to understand the commercial context, then zoom in to define actions grounded in data
- Experience building CRO processes and frameworks, not just operating within existing ones
- Strong analytical capability and confidence in forming independent, evidence-based recommendations
- Commercial acumen and a clear understanding of what drives value for clients
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn data into insight and insight into a compelling narrative
- Proven ability to influence at senior levels, both internally and with clients
- Solid project management skills to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
