The Producer (Curated Program) is an exciting opportunity to manage and support the delivery of key projects that form part of this year’s Curated Program. You will also be responsible for elements of our Sector Development programs, where they call for the needs of a Producer.
Fringe’s Curated Program encompasses large and small-scale participatory arts projects by nationally and internationally significant artists. Key curated program streams include: Civic Events, Pulse, Spotlight, XS, Deadly Fringe, Radical Access, Passport and Fringe Encore. In addition to your work as a Producer there will be elements of sector development that fall within some of these program, required as part of supporting and realising the work of artists in some specific focus areas that include: contemporary experimental art for children, design, participatory projects, international collaborations, community engagement and First Nations led programming.
You will undertake the key planning, project management and delivery components of the Curated Program, working closely with the Senior Producer. To do this you will possess creativity, high level producing and event management skills, a strong attention to detail and the desire to work with artists from all levels of experience.
Your role will form part of the Programs and Projects team, who are responsible for facilitating participation in Melbourne Fringe’s programs, including the Open Program, the Festival Hubs at Trades Hall and Meat Market, Deadly Fringe and Access Fringe.
