We believe that cannabis has a role in the treatment of several chronic conditions, and that cannabis medicine is best provided as part of a comprehensive and patient centered package of care.

Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone who can work in a challenging fast paced environment. A positive attitude and great communications skills are essential for this role.

Lead the Conversation: As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, our Medical Receptionists play a crucial role in setting the tone for a supportive and efficient healthcare experience. In this role, you will lead the conversation, ensuring that every interaction is conducted with professionalism and empathy. Your exceptional communication skills will help guide patients through their scheduling and queries, making each patient feel heard and cared for from the moment they engage with us.

Clarity of Tasks and Duties: As a Medical Receptionist, your responsibilities will be clear and well-defined. These include managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, handling billing inquiries.

Deliver High-Quality Services: In this role, your goal is to deliver high-quality services that enhance patient satisfaction and support our healthcare team’s ability to provide exceptional care. This includes prompt and accurate communication, meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. By upholding our high standards, you contribute directly to the overall reputation of our clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and directing incoming calls.
  • Patient, doctor, pharmacist engagement
  • Data entry
  • Processing patient payments
  • Incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Liaise across the board to provide day to day administrative support
  • Liaise with doctors, other health professionals and staff.

Required Skill/Experience:

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic with a core focus on customer service.
  • Experience across a wide range of software including word/excel etc and a high level of computer literacy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with a high attention to detail
  • Possess proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Well-presented, reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability and commitment to work effectively within a team environment
  • Must be available for shifts between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
