Description

Mecha Pty Ltd is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated personnel to support upcoming shutdown and project works during 2026, including:

  • Yarwun Shutdown – May / June 2026
  • Shell Shutdown – April / May 2026
  • Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL) – Project Work

We are looking to engage suitably qualified, safety-focused personnel across the following roles:

  • Mechanical Fitters
  • Boilermakers
  • Trades Assistants
  • Riggers (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)

Essential Requirements

  • Current Gladstone 3 Site Medipass / Yellow Medipass
  • Relevant Australian trade qualifications
  • High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – Rigging (where applicable)
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Licences and Certifications

  • HRWL – EWP
  • Current Working at Heights
  • Current Confined Space

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven shutdown and project experience preferred
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively in site and shutdown environments
  • Local, FIFO, and DIDO candidates may be considered.
