About the Role

McDermott Aviation is Australia’s premier privately-owned helicopter operator, with global operations in the U.S. and Europe. We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to source, negotiate, and secure materials, equipment, and services to support our aviation operations. You will ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and quality while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Knowledge of CASA/FAA regulations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers.

Manage purchase orders and track delivery schedules.

Maintain inventory and ensure material availability.

Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Build and maintain supplier relationships.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience in aviation or general purchasing operations.

Diploma in Purchasing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.

Strong negotiation, communication, and record-keeping skills.

Knowledge of purchasing regulations and ethical standards.

CASA/FAA regulatory knowledge desirable.
