Position Overview
We perform in dynamic, fast paced and changing environments, covering all facets of Aerial Fire Fighting, Charter, Emergency Assistance and Helicopter lifting services throughout Australia and around the world. Our engineers play a key role, ensuring operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and approved procedures.
• Ensure maintenance of aircraft adheres to aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and company practices.
• Communicate with the Chief Engineer on any deficiencies noted in the maintenance procedures manual with suggestions of remedial action.
• Report details of any observed or detected major defects or major damage on any aircraft undergoing maintenance under the company certificate of approval, inclusive of MEL procedures, communication & liaison with Company Operations.
• Adhere to all aviation rules and regulations, always maintaining the highest level of safety and professionalism
Minimum Requirements
• CASA Australia (or equivalent) Part 66 B1.3 Mechanical Aircraft Engineer Licence.
• Aviation Industry Experience – Rotary or Fixed Wing.
• Understands Civil Aviation and Federal Aviation law regulations
• Must be eligible to hold an ASIC
