About the role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Property Maintenance Officer to support the upkeep and presentation of our facilities across multiple sites. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs rather than major trade work.

You’ll work independently across different locations, responding to day‑to‑day maintenance needs and helping ensure our operational environments remain safe and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• General maintenance and minor repairs (handyman‑level tasks)
• Grounds upkeep including whipper snipping and basic landscaping
• Regular site inspections to identify hazards or maintenance issues
• Minor repairs in crew houses and safety houses
• Escalating plumbing, electrical, or structural issues to licensed trades
• Supporting external contractors with access and site readiness
• Maintaining clean, safe, and well‑presented facilities
• Working in line with workplace health and safety requirements

What we’re looking for

• Experience in general maintenance, facilities, landscaping, or similar hands‑on work
• Practical ability with common tools and basic repairs
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented
• Driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites
