About the Role
This is a field-based role responsible for managing a portfolio of apprentices and host employers.
You will be the key point of contact on site — supporting apprentices, maintaining strong host relationships, and ensuring safety, performance and training outcomes are on track.
You will operate with a high level of autonomy and be trusted to make sound, practical decisions in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end apprentice lifecycle, including recruitment support, induction, onboarding, mobilisation and ongoing field support
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor apprentice progress and site conditions
- Ensure safe work practices, supervision and compliance standards are met
- Support apprentices with performance, engagement and development
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with host employers
- Address issues early and implement practical, timely solutions
- Liaise with RTOs to support training progression and completion outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant documentation
- Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and support future placements
- Explore opportunities to create new apprentice placements by engaging prospective host employers and nurturing those relationships over time
About You
- Experience in a Group Training Organisation, apprenticeship, or training-focused environment
- Experience working directly with apprentices or young adults, including mentoring and support
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, training progression and completion requirements
- Exposure to construction environments highly regarded
- Confident building credibility with apprentices, supervisors and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage performance issues and have direct, professional conversations
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your portfolio
