About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Part-Time Production Operator to join our team in a practical, hands-on role based in a slaughterhouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys routine, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of something meaningful.
Flexible hours are available on weekdays, starting from 5:00 AM, based on production schedules. For the right person, there is potential to step up and support broader operational needs over time.
What You Will Do
You will play an essential role in preparing and handling biological materials to the highest quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:
• Collecting, cleaning, and packaging animal tissue and biological materials
• Completing documentation with accuracy and care
• Following established procedures to ensure hygiene, safety, and quality
• Maintaining a clean, well-organised workspace
• Working as part of a team to meet daily and weekly production targets
• Reporting any issues or irregularities promptly
What You Will Bring
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
• Have a willingness to learn and follow procedures carefully
• Are physically fitness to perform manual tasks
• Are comfortable working in a slaughterhouse/abattoir environment
• Can follow instructions carefully and stay focused on detail
• Are a team player who supports others and contributes positively
• Are reliable, proactive, and open to learning new skills
• Have your own reliable transport (essential, due to site location)
