Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to support our team in Camden, New South Wales. This part-time contract role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our Therapy and Early Childhood Programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills and work well in a busy team environment.

This position is a 9 month contract role to cover a period of parental leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the therapy and early childhood teams, including managing correspondence and scheduling appointments.
  • Contribute to key administrative workflow related to client appointments, attendance and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
  • Handle incoming calls and enquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel plus front of house reception responsibilities.
  • Coordinate office supplies and inventory management to ensure the office and programs run smoothly.
  • Support the organisation of meetings and events, including logistics and materials preparation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a busy administration role, or similar position.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Admin experience within the Allied Health, Early Childhood, Health or Disability Industries (desirable)

Key Requirements:

  • Availability to work up to 30 hours per week across 3-4 days, with start time from 7:30am
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Remuneration and Benefits

  • This position is classified under the Clerks Award as a Level 3, with the rate of pay from $30.00 – $35 per hour
  • Salary Packaging Benefits where you are able to package up to $15,900 per annum to reduce your taxable income.
