Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Services / Maintenance Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to safety, provide high-quality customer service, and maintain respectful relationships with aviation and community groups.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Uphold and promote safety standards within the company and industry.
  • Report all incidents, hazards, and injuries promptly.
  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and relevant legislation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Foster positive company image and relationships with aviation and community groups.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members.
  • Provide technical advice and support to engineering departments.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, overhaul agencies, and vendors.
  • Manage avionic modifications and structural defects.
  • Monitor performance of repair agencies and ensure continued airworthiness.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training sessions as required.

Key Duties

  • Direct liaison with manufacturers, overhaul agencies, and vendors.
  • Advise on new equipment and test equipment requirements.
  • Assess and manage avionic modifications and structural defects.
  • Coordinate GPS and EGPWS database updates.
  • Monitor Life Limited Parts (LLP) and ensure airworthiness.
  • Provide technical support to Part 145 and liaise with OEM and overhaul agencies.
  • Communicate actions required for defect rectifications.
  • Monitor and manage delayed flights due to mechanical disruptions.
  • Keep Airworthiness management and Flight Operations informed on AOG and delays.

Essential Criteria

  • B1 LAME or
  • 3 years’ Experience in Technical Services / Maintenance Control

Preferred Criteria

  • B1 or B2 LAME with Dash 8 Classic or Q400 Type Rating

Skills and Experience

  • At least three years aircraft maintenance experience in a commercial setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry, particularly in maintenance control or technical services.
  • Familiarity with airworthiness directives and regulatory compliance.
