About the Role
As Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating scheduled maintenance activities across our aircraft fleet. You will help ensure maintenance requirements are forecast accurately, work packages are prepared on time, parts and resources are available, and aircraft downtime is managed efficiently to support operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop short and medium-term maintenance forecasts and schedules for aircraft and components.
- Prepare work orders, maintenance work packs and supporting documentation for scheduled inputs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Stores and external maintenance providers to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
- Ensure required parts, resources and maintenance slots are available to meet planned timeframes.
- Monitor aircraft utilisation and maintenance planning data to support efficient fleet availability.
- Maintain accurate records and data integrity within the Engineering Maintenance Database.
- Provide reporting, planning updates and general support to the Continuing Airworthiness team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, safety reporting and team collaboration.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring aviation maintenance planning or maintenance control experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a safety-critical environment.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance planning, maintenance control, or a similar aviation support role.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance administration or maintenance coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
- Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements and maintenance planning processes.
- Current ASIC or the ability to obtain one.
