Market Creations Agency is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Consultant with a strong background in corporate communications, media relations and crisis communications to join our growing Client Services team.
This role is ideal for a strategic communicator who thrives in complex environments, can confidently advise senior stakeholders, and delivers clear, compelling messages when it matters most.
As a Senior Marketing Consultant, you will support the Client Services team across all aspects of marketing development and execution, taking lead on major client projects. You will also play a key role in mentoring a team of consultants, ensuring they are supported, developing professionally and delivering an exceptional service to our clients.
The consultancy world offers a fast-paced environment perfectly suited to those who like every day to be different. It will not be unusual that you will work on several clients at once, so strong time management skills are essential for this position.
About the role
You will lead major client projects and manage a diverse portfolio, with a focus on:
- Corporate communications strategy and execution
- Crisis and issues management support
- Media relations, messaging and spokesperson preparation
- High-quality written communications across digital, media and stakeholder channels
You’ll also play a key mentoring role within the team and act as a trusted advisor to clients across government, regional and corporate sectors.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications or a related consultancy role
- Demonstrated experience in corporate communications and crisis communications
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong ability to craft clear, concise and strategic content
- Proven experience managing media relations and liaising with journalists
- Strong stakeholder management skills and client-facing confidence
- Ability to lead complex projects from strategy through to delivery
- A proactive, calm and solutions-focused approach, particularly under pressure
- Candidates with experience in the local government sector preferred, but not required
