Your Role
As Technical Interface Manager, you will oversee Marinus Link’s technical interface management function, ensuring engineering integration principles are fully embedded into project delivery and decision-making. You will lead coordination across contractors and internal teams, providing clarity and confidence to project leaders, technical specialists, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy – Establish and drive the interface management framework, operating rhythm, and reporting processes across engineering and contractor teams.

Functional Excellence – Lead technical integration across cable, converter, and balance-of-works packages, ensuring documentation, specifications, and interfaces align with project requirements.

Monitoring & Reporting – Develop and manage reporting tools that track interface progress, risks, and technical deliverables.

Culture & Capability Building – Promote a collaborative, solutions-focused environment that supports timely information sharing and effective decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with contractors, consultants, construction teams, and program stakeholders to coordinate technical inputs, resolve issues, and maintain alignment.
Technical Oversight
- Review technical documents and engineering deliverables between contractors
- Support RFI processes and technical queries
- Lead BIM and digital engineering outcomes
- Support risk reviews and interface-related planning matters
Contractor Interface Support
- Co-develop balance-of-works interface solutions
- Support cable and converter teams in technical and commercial interface matters
- Assist with asset management system requirements for transition into operations
You’ll Need
You are a delivery-focused and detail-oriented professional who excels in complex environments and thrives under tight timelines. You’ll bring:

Expertise in Engineering Integration – Demonstrated experience managing complex technical package interfaces or design management functions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence – Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors within matrix project environments.

Technical Capability – Experience with HVDC systems, including cable and converter technologies, and familiarity with international standards.

Project Delivery Knowledge – Background in large-scale power transmission or comparable infrastructure projects.

Commercial & Risk Awareness – Ability to support technical and commercial interface discussions while identifying and mitigating risks.

Professional Foundations – Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent.

Personal Strengths – High attention to detail, adaptability, strong initiative, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
