We are seeking an Administration Officer who brings warmth, organisation, and excellence in customer service to support our Brisbane Head Office and MANAWISE Care service stream. This is a pivotal role where your work directly contributes to the smooth running of services that change lives.

 

About the Opportunity You will provide high-quality clerical, reception, and administrative support across the organisation. You’ll be the first point of contact for many stakeholders and a trusted support to leadership, residential services, HR, and finance teams. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised, and thrives in a values-led environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all incoming phone, email, and mail communications with professionalism and care
  • Provide administration support to residential sites, including safety documentation, equipment ordering, and external provider coordination
  • Maintain asset registers, vehicle records, insurance, and infringement reallocation
  • Support recruitment, rostering, compliance, and onboarding processes
  • Assist Finance with accounts payable and receivable as required
  • Coordinate office and service-stream ordering (catering, stationery, events, first aid, staff gifts)
  • Ensure staff and visitors comply with health and safety requirements
  • Provide administrative support to Group Leadership
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes

 

About you

You will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role (child services sector highly regarded)
  • Strong IT and systems capability, with confidence using digital tools
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement
  • An understanding of, or willingness to learn, child protection and compliance frameworks

 

Requirements

  • Current QLD Driver’s Licence and willingness to use own vehicle (mileage paid)
  • Working with Children Blue Card (QLD)
  • Ability to complete Department of Communities
  • Suitability and National Police Checks
