Front Office Receptionist – Casual Role

MainStay Suites Abbotsford is seeking a talented Front Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our brand.

Located at the Eastern end of Victoria Street in Abbotsford, MainStay Suites Abbotsford features 93 residences, comprising serviced apartments with studio, one, two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts, the majority enjoying private balconies.

Our extended stay government and corporate travellers keep us busy! This casual role is ideal for a hospitality/hotel professional or office administrator. Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests (or ‘Residents’ as we call them) while gaining valuable accommodation industry experience and the potential for future growth within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist Residents in a friendly and professional manner;
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations with precision and efficiency;
• Manage phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence to ensure top-tier communication standards;
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest services.

Ideal experience you bring:

• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or reception role
• Effective communication and people skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Reliable, willing to work weekends and public holidays as required
