About the Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our national Marketing & BD team at Macpherson Kelley on a full time or part time (4 days per week) 12-month contract. This role can be based from any of our five offices – Adelaide, Brisbane, Dandenong, Melbourne or Sydney.
This role is responsible for the strategic design, implementation and coordination of a range of internal and external communication strategies. You will be involved in increasing brand awareness, media and industry engagement and working with our Business Development team to promote the firm to its core clients/ referrers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and implementing strategic communications for promotion and dissemination of legal marketing content and profiling – with an emphasis on digital comms.
- Ensuring corporate branding is a key element of all communications.
- Planning, creating and coordinating internal communications in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Coordinating PR and media relations including drafting, editing and liaising with media contacts and partners.
- Assisting in the preparation and drafting of various internal and external communications.
- Creating and optimising web content for SEO and keyword search.
- Reporting and analytics to measure impact and inform strategy.
- Developing and maintaining social media profiles with quality content across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Google Business.
About You
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience creating and publishing content for LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter.
- Experience with website management, including SEO and WordPress.
- Confidence in liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience creating visual content production for a multitude of channels including video editing and production.
- Previous experience in a PR and Communications role within professional services (preferred).
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads and Cloud Console (desirable).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
