About the Opportunity
We are seeking an AI Analyst to join our IT team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge AI in a real-world, high-impact environment. You will work alongside legal professionals to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance legal service delivery and operational efficiency across the firm.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and build AI models and applications that solve problems and maximise efficiency.
- Develop tools that automate and support legal tasks like research, contract review, due diligence, etc.
- Collaborate with lawyers to embed AI tools into day-to-day workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across practice areas using AI.
- Monitor performance, accuracy and reliability of AI systems.
- Stay up to date on emerging AI trends, particularly in legal technology.
This role can be based in either our Melbourne CBD or Dandenong office or split between both locations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience building AI/machine learning (ML) solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience in large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
- Experience developing solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform alongside AI.
- Experience working in a legal or professional services environment (preferred).
- Understanding of legal workflows and document-heavy processes (desirable).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in AI/ML (desirable).
