Production and Warehouse Assistant

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills and being part of a supportive team?

We’re looking for a motivated person with the right attitude – someone who’s curious, practical and keen to learn electrical and/or mechanical assembly. No formal experience required; we’ll teach you.

About the Role

This is a varied role where you’ll learn how to assemble our electro-mechanical products, support production and help out in the warehouse when needed. You’ll work with a friendly team that values quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Hours: Full time, 38 per week

Hourly Rate: $28.19 + super

What you will do

• Learn to assemble products and sub‑assemblies using drawings and work instructions
• Use tools and equipment to complete hands‑on tasks
• Assist with testing, quality checks and production records
• Help keep the workspace clean, organised and safe
• Support warehouse tasks such as receiving goods, picking materials and preparing orders (training provided)

What we are looking for

Essential

• Strong interest in learning electrical and/or mechanical assembly, including hands-on panel or product assembly tasks.
• Good practical, hands-on capability with tools, components and basic mechanical tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Right to work in Australia

Desirable

• Current forklift licence
• Victorian driver’s license
• Experience using hand tools, crimpers or basic mechanical/electrical tools
• Exposure to electrical, mechanical or panel assembly environments
• Experience in warehouse, stores or despatch activities
